Elizabeth Frey (Simpson) passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 85 in Westland, Michigan.  She was born on July 22, 1937 in Farmington, Michigan to the late Myron and the late Berta Simpson. Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late John.  Loving mother of Tim (Debbie) Frey. Cherished grandmother of Matthew D. Frey and Patrick J (Ashley) Frey. Adored great-grandmother of Elliott Frey and Linkin Frey. Dear sister of the late Jacqueline (Bill) Brooks and the late Robert Simpson. Aunt of Jimmy Bacchi, Fred Brooks, Ginny Brooks, and the late Sally Grutsch.

Elizabeth was devoted to her faith. She had been a proud member of Fair Haven Baptist Church for years and loved her church family very much. Elizabeth enjoyed working in her garden, admiring her flowers, and loved the birds.  She loved babies and was very proud to work as a mother baby nurse for many years.  She made long lasting, loving friendships with her coworkers. Her kind heart and loving nature will be deeply missed.
