Duane Goodin was born on December 29, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan.  He passed away on November 27, 2022 at the age of 61 in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Duane was a proud graduate of Salem High School class of 1979.  On July 2, 1983, he married the love of his life, Linda Kucsan, and together they shared nearly 40 years of love and laughter.  Together they had two daughters, Alyssa and Callie.  Duane joined the United States Army on July 26, 1979 and served until February 20, 1987 as a Military Police Officer and Drill Instructor.  He was an extremely proud veteran.  After his military career, he served as a supervisor for the TSA for over 20 years.

Duane enjoyed deer hunting, camping, and being outdoors.  He and Linda loved bowling and traveling with their family. Some of their favorite destinations included Vegas, Gatlinburg, and Florida.  He was an avid reader, especially the newspaper. Duane was a true family man and loved his grandchildren dearly.

Duane is survived by loving wife, Linda Goodin, two daughters, Alyssa (Chris) Gazdag, Callie (Robert) Dexter, grandson, Alex Gazdag, granddaughter, Josephine Gazdag, and sister, Gail Goodin.  He is preceded in death by parents, Ezekiel and Alta Goodin and brother, Alan Goodin.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Veteran's Affairs Department.
