It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Lynn Smith, who departed this life on August 24, 2026. Born on April 30, 1963 to John and Eva Oldaker, Deborah lived a life filled with love, creativity, and cherished moments.

In a beautiful twist of fate, Deborah met her beloved husband, Ronald Smith, at a bowling alley, which blossomed into a loving marriage on June 4, 1988. Together, they built a family that brought immeasurable joy to Deborah's life. She is survived by her husband, Ron; her adored children, Jake (Gaby) Smith and Marisa Smith; her brother, Doug Oldaker; her sister, Diane (Randy) Weiss; her father-in-law, Ron Smith; her mother-in-law, Judy Smith; and her sister-in-law, Traci St. Ledger. Each of them will carry forward the indelible impact she made in their lives, as they remember her warmth and steadfast devotion.

Deborah had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She loved crafting, particularly beading and scrapbooking, and her hands were always busy creating beautiful memories. She found joy in the outdoors, particularly in her garden, where she nurtured not only flowers but also her love for life. An avid fan of hockey, she could often be found cheering for her favorite teams, and her love for animals-especially dogs-was evident in her home.

Deborah had a unique flair for style, with a fondness for animal prints and a deep appreciation for Ford Mustangs, having owned a few throughout her life. She loved attending concerts and shopping, reveling in the moments that made her heart sing. Above all, Deborah cherished her family and friends above anything else, embracing them with loving arms and a generous spirit. Her laughter and zest for pampering herself would light up any room she entered.
