Armstrong
September 15, 1970 – December 3, 2025
Deborah Kay Armstrong, known affectionately as Debbie by her friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at the age of 55 in Trenton, Michigan. Born on September 15, 1970, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to the late Claudia Conn and Lannie Wilson, and raised by the late Claudia and the late Robert Sigmond, Debbie was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her.
Debbie's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family. She was a loving mother to Nichole (Steven) Craft and Dustin (Trisha) Armstrong, who will forever cherish the boundless support and wisdom she provided. The cherished memories created with her children will serve as a guiding light for them throughout their lives. A devoted wife to the late Theodore Armstrong, Debbie's marriage was a testament to their shared love and commitment from their wedding in 1992 until Theodore's passing in 2015.
Her role as a sister was deeply valued, bringing joy and comfort to Tonia (Tim) Schwab and Mary Smith. Debbie's infectious laughter and gentle spirit were the cornerstone of many family gatherings. As a grandmother, affectionately known as "MeMe", Debbie's heart was filled with immeasurable pride and love for her grandchildren, Faith, Ella, Coraline, Nikolas, Ayden, Gracie, and Myki. Each of them benefited from her nurturing presence, creating a legacy of love that will endure for generations.
Debbie's caring nature extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her many nieces and nephews. She was the family's caretaker, a reliable source of advice, and a helping hand whenever needed. Her home was a welcoming haven where everyone felt valued and loved.
In addition to her family, Debbie's interests included a deep commitment to her community. She was passionate about participating in Relay for Life races and various fundraising events, always eager to contribute to causes greater than herself. Debbie's love for her dogs showcased her compassionate spirit, providing a glimpse into her capacity for unconditional love and care.
Those who knew Debbie will fondly remember her as bubbly, silly, and goofy. Her ability to bring joy to any situation was one of her most endearing qualities. The words that best describe her—loving and kind—are the essence of who she was and the impact she had on the world around her.
Debbie's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the happiness of those she held dear. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a lasting tribute to a life so beautifully lived.
