Darlene Marie Palmer passed away suddenly on February 7, 2025, in Westland, MI, at the age of 66. She is survived by her brother, Mark Palmer, and was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Donna Palmer. Her remaining close family and friends will miss her deeply.

Darlene was fiercely independent, a true homebody who found comfort in the simple joys of life—quiet moments, familiar surroundings, and the loyal companionship of her beloved dog, Mora. She spent her life in the home where she grew up, cherishing the moments and the familiar walls that held a lifetime of love and memories. That house was more than just a place to live—it was her sanctuary.

She enjoyed cross-stitching, antique shopping, and attending craft shows, always on the lookout for unique handmade pieces. Her love of ceramics was a gift passed down from her mother, and she carried that passion with her throughout her life.

Per her wishes, no formal services will be held. In her memory, consider a kind gesture for an animal in need, just as she always did for Mora.
