We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Clemens J. Bielecki of Westland, Michigan.
Predeceased by his parents, Marion and Sophia Bielecki, and sister Johanna Bielecki, Clem is survived by his wife Betty Bielecki; his sons, Joseph Bielecki (Colette) and William Bielecki (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Madelyn Staniak (Peter), Garrett Bielecki and Alexander Bielecki; his brother Vince Bielecki and niece Karen Milostna-Bielecki (Veronika), and countless beloved nieces and nephews.
Born in Detroit in 1930, Clem proudly served his country in the Korean War and, returning home, settled in at Madison Electric for a 35-year career in sales.
Well-read and inquisitive, Clem was known by family, friends, and co-workers as a warm, engaging man with a profound interest in others, their lives, and the things that mattered most to them. This was particularly so of his sons and grandchildren. Clem loved being a father and grandfather, and his grandkids loved their "Papa" dearly.
Clem's family cherish the wonderful memories made over many years at the family cottage on Lake Huron, enjoying one another, laughter and good food. Clem's love of and appreciation for desserts was well-known; a sweet tooth cultivated, no doubt, by his early years working at his uncle's Polish bakery.
Clem also loved to travel throughout Michigan and, in retirement, he and Betty enjoyed their long drives, and stops along the way, to Lake Havasu, Arizona.
We hope you will share your thoughts and special memories of Clem in the guestbook provided.
