Christopher Crile passed away unexpectedly on the morning of June 18th 2026. Chris is best known as a quirky friend, a devoted pet owner to Dobby, a plane enthusiast, proud Eagle Scout and an extremely loving grandson, son and brother. Chris worked the last several years at Willow Run Airport surrounded by coworkers he cared deeply for. While the work could be stressful and physically taxing, he never stopped enjoying seeing the planes and sharing photos of the sunset on the landing strip with his family. Since birth, Chris' nerdy and loving spirit always found a lot of joy in building Legos. He was an extremely gifted musician and his enthusiastic piano playing will forever be missed and leave a silence in our homes and hearts. Chris had a great sense of humor and will be fondly remembered as hilarious by his only sister Madeline and large group of friends. He was also very sensitive and worked so hard to ensure all those around him were content. He took it very deeply to heart if someone he loved was upset. Chris is remembered and survived by his grandparents Larry and Christine Snowden; mother DeVonna and stepfather Craig; sister Madeline (VanZandt) and brother-in-law Danny; aunt Kristina (Reid), uncle Dan and cousins Lauren and Katherine; aunt Jessica (Payne), uncle James and cousin Charlie; and aunt Wendy Superfisky and uncle Gary Skog.
