Cheryl Lee Endicott, a vibrant soul cherished by her family and friends, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, in Wayne, Michigan, at the age of 77. Born on April 2, 1947, in Northville, Michigan, Cheryl's life was a testament to her strong will and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures.
Cheryl was the beloved wife of Donald Endicott and the loving mother of Pamela McFadden and the late Steve Endicott. Her spirit and legacy continue to live on through her cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Andrew) Prescott, Jeremy McFadden, Zackery Jacobs, Steve Jacobs, Jacob Endicott, and her adoring great-grandchildren Mekhi, Mekaylah, Nora, Ella, Jameson, Jaxon, and Melanie.
Zackery Jacobs, her grandson and caregiver, shared a special bond with Cheryl, caring for her with unwavering dedication in her last years. Their time spent together, especially their fishing trips, brought Cheryl immense joy and comfort.
Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Bertha Allen, her son, Steve Endicott, and her brother, Ronald Allen. Her memory will be cherished by her sister, Carolyn Theisen, and her nephews and nieces, Rodney (Theresa) Allen, Nicole (Dennis) Ginder, Cherie (Chris) Johnson, Rob (the late Brooke) Theisen, Rion (Olivia) Allen, and Joel Theisen, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews who looked up to her as a pillar of strength and love.
A woman of independence and resilience, Cheryl was an overcomer who faced life's challenges head-on. Her passion for life was evident in her various interests. She was a connoisseur of the simple joys, always looking forward to her next trip to the movies, where she would immerse herself in the latest cinematic adventure. An avid shopper, Cheryl found delight in the treasures she would discover at flea markets and thrift stores, each find a small victory in her quest for the unique and extraordinary.
Cheryl's love for Hostess treats was well-known among her family and friends, a sweet indulgence that was quintessentially Cheryl. Above all, her greatest love was for her family, whom she supported and cherished with every fiber of her being. Her presence at family gatherings was a source of comfort and joy, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
