Charlotte Ann Burda (Urban) was born on January 5, 1934 in Pittston, Pennsylvania.  She passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 89 in Novi, Michigan.

Charlotte lived in the Livonia area in her younger years.  She married the love of her life, Earl Daniel Burda in 1953 and together they raised two children: Janice Sue and Steven Joseph.  Charlotte was a proud employee of Ford Motor Company for 38 years.  She was one of the first women within the company to hold a position of high regard as a merchandiser.  She moved to Rodney, Michigan in the 1990s.  There she loved to garden and work in her yard.  She also enjoyed sewing in her free time.  In 2005, she moved to Punta Gorda, Florida.  She loved to travel in her retirement, often visiting places such as Hawaii and Nevada.  She was loved dearly by her family and friends and she will be deeply missed.

Charlotte is survived by daughter, Janice Sue (Manuel) Martinez; son, Steven Joseph (Laura Jean) Burda; granddaughter, Crystal Jones; granddaughter, Brandy Burda Heins; granddaughter, Felicia Dawn Martinez; grandson, Bryan Burda; grandson, Esteban (Jessica) Martinez; grandson, Manuel (Tracey) Martinez Jr.; great-grandson, Manuel Esteban Martinez; great-grandson, Esteban Martinez Jr.; great-grandson, Tobian James Martinez; great-grandson, Miguel Klann; great-granddaughter, Giavanna Klann; and great great-granddaughter, Melani Rae Martinez.  She is preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Sophia Urban; beloved husband, Earl Daniel Burda; brothers, Conrad Urban, Raymond Urban, and Robert Urban; great-grandson, Donovan James Martinez; and great-granddaughter, Journey Lyn Martinez.
