Her brother Jason (Shannon) Groves, mother-in-law Carolyn Theisen, sister-in-law Cherie (Chris) Johnson, and brother-in-law Joel Theisen, along with her nieces and nephews Audrey, Alexander, Connor, and Rayna, all held special places in her heart. And let's not forget her furry companions, Pepper, Smudge, and Jinx, who were more than just pets; they were integral members of her cherished family.

Brooke's career path led her to the Wayne-Westland School District, where she worked as a paraprofessional. However, her true vocation was being the rock of her household.
