Brian Healy was born on July 15, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan.  He passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 63 in Westland, Michigan.

Brian was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He was in the military from 1983 to 1986, during which he trained as a Field Artillery Basic Officer.  After returning from active duty, he remained in the reserves until 1989.  Brian worked in accounting for over 30 years, from a basic accountant to controller at different companies.

He enjoyed attending the Civil War re-enactments at Greenfield Village over the years and, although he did not participate, enjoyed watching year after year.  He loved watching sports, but his passion being football.  He loved Tom Brady, and followed his fandom from team to team.  He always rooted for the Detroit Lions even though some years were tougher than others.  Brian was a true University of Michigan fan, Go Blue! He was definitely a guy's guy but also a simple man.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Brian is survived by brother, James Scott Healy; sister, Beth Ann Healy; nieces, Katherine Healy, Eryn Healy, Ashley Reynoso.  He is preceded in death by parents, George and Marianne Healy and brother, Barry Joseph Healy.
