Bobby Gene Killen, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on January 5, 1940, in Clinton, Virginia, to the late Carter and Pearl Killen.

Bobby was a quiet man with a loving heart and a deep devotion to his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to Lois Killen, always making sure that his wife had everything she needed and doing whatever he could to make her life easier. His love was shown not through grand gestures, but through the countless little things he did each day. He was truly selfless and dedicated to the people he loved.

Bobby was a proud father to his boys, Shawn, Tommy, and Coty. He took great pride in his family and made it his priority to ensure they were always cared for. His grandchildren, Spencer and Elena, held a special place in his heart, as did his niece, Laura, and great-nieces, Abigail and Amaya.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Stuart and Carter Jr. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia and Tammy, who will carry with them the memories of the brother they loved.

Bobby was also a dear friend to Dianne Morgan and treasured the friendships he made throughout his life.

A true creature of habit, Bobby found comfort in a set routine and enjoyed the familiarity of the everyday moments that made life special. He loved watching sports and could often be found enjoying a game. But more than anything, Bobby loved being there for his family.

He was a real family man and a wonderful example of what it meant to be a devoted husband and father. His family could always count on him. He worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of and never hesitated to put the needs of those he loved before his own.

Though Bobby was a quiet man, the love he had for his family spoke volumes. His presence brought a sense of comfort, stability, and reassurance to those around him. The lessons he taught through the way he lived—about love, devotion, selflessness, and always being there for the people who matter most—will remain with his family forever.

Bobby will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
