Billie Young,90, of Garden City, Michigan died Sunday, April 10, 2022.  At the time of her death she was residing in Assisted Living at Wayne, Maple Manor. She was born July 5, 1931, in Woodbury, Tennessee, to the the late Clarse and Zettie Pittman Markum. Billie was a devout Christian and a long standing member of Garden City Church of Christ. She left home at a young age to work in hospitals.  She met and married her one and only love Paul Young on March 13, 1948. Billie loved her family dearly.  They include Paulette and husband Ray Loftis; Greg Young and wife Robyn; Jacqueline Hays and fiancé Roger Humphrey. Grandchildren-Ken & (Michele) Loftis; Kristen & (Eric) Murray; Kerryn & (Chris) Moore; Crystal & (Derek) Nowka; Amber & (Mark) Trocino; Cortney & (Colin) Tordrup; Justin & (Sami) Hays. Great Grandchildren-Olivia Loftis, Nolan Loftis, Avery Loftis, Nash Moore, Tate Murray, Gracie & Gabe Nowka, Davide Trocino, Eleanor, Evelyn, Easton, Wade & Wyatt Tordrup and soon to be Archer Hays. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years Paul Young, loving daughter in law Shirley A. Young; brothers Frank Markum & Ray Markum; sisters Margaret Bogle, Lorene Parker & Mabel Wheeler. She is survived by her youngest brother Mike Almon Markum, sister in laws Janice Markum & Christine Hancock Knox, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Also many loving friends.
