Beverly Sue Tackett passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, in Harbor Beach, Michigan, at the age of 71. Born on April 4, 1954, to the late Donald Rousse and the late Nancy Hopkins, Beverly's life was a testament to the power of warmth and generosity that she extended to everyone around her.

She grew up alongside her siblings, Alice Welch and John Hopkins, and was predeceased by David Rousse, Toni Romano, Beth Brousseau, and James Hopkins. The bonds of family were deeply important to Beverly, and she carried this value into every aspect of her life.
Her own children, Walter Christensen and his partner Tamara Honeycutt, Dennis Christensen and his wife Verna, and Paul Christensen, were the pride and joy of her life. She also had a love for playing cards, with poker and euchre being a few of her favorites. Beverly also enjoyed watching the local sports teams, and she was a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions, cheering them on with unwavering loyalty through every season.

She had a unique ability to make each person feel valued and heard, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy to many. Her laughter was infectious, her advice was sought after, and her hugs were a refuge in times of need.
