Betty Francis Webb, a vibrant and loving presence, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on November 20, 1955, in Michigan, Betty lived most of her life in Wayne, MI, where she became known for her fierce spirit, big personality, and unwavering kindness.
Betty dedicated many years to her work as a Union Representative at Gate Gourmet in the food industry, where her passion for helping others shone through. She was more than just a colleague; she was a mentor, a friend, and a source of strength for many.
A devoted mother, Betty's world revolved around her daughter, Tonya Webb, and she cherished the time spent with her son, Donald (Christina) Webb, and her beloved grandchildren. Her granddaughters, Kayla Morais, Lyrik Webb and Susan Humphrey, along with her grandsons, Donald TJ Webb, Danny Wheeler, Landon Webb, Leland Webb, Lynkin Webb, will forever hold dear the wonderful memories made under her loving care. Betty was also a proud great-grandmother to Daxel Jacobs, Silas Jacobs, Mia Lemons, Ava Lemons, and Donald Webb Jr., and her love will continue to shine through them.
Betty had a passion for ceramics and was a woman of many interests, from shopping to driving, and even moderating YouTube auctions, where she earned the nickname "Black Widow." Her adventurous spirit often led her to Tennessee, where she cherished visits with family. She spoke her mind candidly, and her feisty nature was matched only by her generous heart. Betty was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Betty leaves behind her cherished sister, Carolyn Guinn, and brothers, James "Jimbo" Guinn and Kenny Guinn, as well as her lifelong best friend, Denise Reese, who stood by her side since sixth grade.
In honor of Betty's remarkable life, family and friends are invited to celebrate her memory. A visitation will be held at Uht Funeral Home in Wayne, MI, on July 24, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM, with a special family viewing at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on July 25, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the same location, followed by her burial at 11:45 AM at 1299 N Ridge Road, Canton, MI 48187.
Betty Francis Webb will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
