Limcaco
July 29, 1935 – March 18, 2026
Beatriz Cortezano Limcaco, affectionately known as Betty, was called to her eternal home on March 18, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on July 29, 1935, in Manila, Philippines, Betty was the daughter of the late Teodoro and Sofronia Limcaco. Her final days were spent surrounded by the love and warmth of her family in Westland, Michigan.
Betty's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and the love she had for her family. Her marriage to the late Eduardo Quioc Sr. was blessed with five children: Eduardo (Emma) Quioc Jr., Thelma (Dave) David, Loida (Conrado) Balilo, Alma (Randy) Camunag, and the late Charito Quioc and Eduardo Quioc III. She was a sister to Leonardo Limcaco and predeceased by Justina Juco and Manuel Limcaco.
As a loving grandmother and great-grandmother, Betty was known as "Mommy" and "Grandma Mommy," titles she wore with pride and joy. Her grandchildren, Pamela (Mike), Anna (Mike), Megan, Matthew, Jan Paolo, Carmina (Tony), Miguel, Bryan, Michael, Paul, Adrienne, Jon Paul, and Mackenzie, along with her great-grandchildren, Damion, Dominik, Logan, Harleen, Kayleigh, Jaedyn, and Isabella, brought immense happiness to her life.
Betty's passion for cooking, especially Filipino dishes, was renowned among her family and friends. She found joy in the simple pleasure of preparing meals for her loved ones, infusing each dish with the same love and care she bestowed upon her family. Shopping was another activity she enjoyed, always on the lookout for the perfect gifts to express her affection.
A long-time and devoted member of St. Richard Catholic Church in Westland, Betty's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She lived her life as a testament to her Catholic faith, and her presence was a comforting reminder of God's love and grace.
Betty's life was a beautiful portrait of love and dedication. She was a matriarch in the truest sense, her life a series of selfless acts and enduring love for her family. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those she touched with her loving and faith-filled spirit. She has left an indelible mark on the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Betty's life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
