Born on February 21, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Charles and Angeline McDonald, Barbara's life was a remarkable journey of joy, adventure, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Barbara's early years were spent in the bustling city of Detroit, where she grew up alongside her late brother, Charles (Lucille) McDonald. Her life was filled with laughter, love, and the close-knit bonds of family. Barbara's heart found its match when she married the love of her life, the late John "Jack" Vidusic. Together, they built a life rich in shared experiences and welcomed three wonderful children into the world-John Vidusic, Natalie (Michael) Czubaj, and Robert (Bridget) Vidusic.

Barbara's career as a flight attendant with Alitalia Airline was more than a job; it was a passion that allowed her to see the world and meet people from all walks of life. Her adventurous spirit was matched by her caring nature, making her a favorite among her colleagues and passengers alike.

Barbara was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wayne for many years. Her commitment to her community was evident in her active participation and the friendships she forged along the way. Barbara's love for travel extended beyond her professional life, as she belonged to a travel group of ladies on numerous trips, sharing stories and creating memories over many lunches.

Barbara's zest for life was contagious, and she never missed an opportunity to stay active. She enjoyed working out at the senior pool, and after moving to Independence Village, she quickly became a cherished member of the community, making friends with her warm smile and engaging personality. Her love for swimming and being near the beach was a testament to her appreciation for nature's beauty.

Family was the center of Barbara's universe. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren, Sarah and Hayden, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her love extended to her faithful canine companion, Harper, who was always by her side, often dressed in adorable outfits that brought joy to everyone they encountered.

Barbara's home was a hub of social gatherings, where neighbors and friends were always welcomed with open arms. Her participation in bowling tournaments was another avenue for her to connect with others, showcasing her competitive yet friendly spirit.

Those who knew Barbara would describe her as loving, friendly, and spirited.  Her presence was a comfort to many.
