Our dear mother and grandmother, Audrey Elaine Leverenz, passed away on July 5th at the age of 85. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and her heart of gold impacted the lives of many along the way.

Beloved wife of Richard Leverenz, the mother of Christopher and Patrick Leverenz, whom she joins in eternal rest. She is survived by her children, Brad (Darlene) Leverenz, Pamela (Michael) Neumann, Ed (Michelle) Leverenz, Deanna (Robert) Gibbons, and Jennifer Meyer.

Audrey was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 14th 1936. It was love at first sight when she met her next door neighbor Richard, the two fell in love and married in the fall of 1952. They remained married for 65 years sharing 7 children, 30 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Audrey has always had a huge sense of humor and knack for discussion of news and current events. She was always so proud to share stories of her life, family, and accomplishments and would sit for hours to hear of your stories as well. One of her favorite pastimes, as of late, was to enjoy her coffee (with extra sugar,) and toast, and spend her mornings on her favorite rocking chair enjoying the different birds that would come for a morning visit. She also enjoyed traveling and exploring the great states of Michigan and Arizona where she lived. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and we know that she is at peace in Heaven with her husband and sons.
