Ann L. Haines, a spirited and independent soul, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in Wayne, Michigan, at the age of 90. Born on December 23, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, Ann lived a life characterized by love, creativity, and a fierce sense of individuality. She was the beloved daughter of the late Melvin and Beatrice Pfeifle and the cherished wife of the late Duane Haines, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage until his passing in 2010. Ann and Duane celebrated their union on February 11, 1956,  a day that marked the beginning of a family legacy filled with love and laughter.

Throughout her life, Ann was known for her feisty and lovably calm demeanor, a unique blend that endeared her to all who knew her. She was also the proud great-grandmother to Maya, Hunter, Gracey, and Kensley, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
