It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amanda Snyder, who left this world on August 29, 2026. Born on January 23, 1981, in Westland, Michigan, Amanda was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, and friend, and she deeply touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Amanda graduated from John Glenn High School in 2000, where her vibrant personality made her a cherished member of her school community. She devoted herself to her work in housekeeping at the Humane Society, where her love for animals shone brightly.

A true horse lover at heart, Amanda lived and breathed horses. Whether riding, drawing, or simply caring for them, her connection with these majestic creatures was unparalleled. She found joy in every moment spent with them and cherished her time visiting family in Pennsylvania, where she would ride horses, spend time in barns, and play with the barn cats.

Amanda was many things to many people-a talented artist who loved to draw, a passionate fisherwoman who would get dirtier than anyone else while catching her latest prize, and a devoted fan of country music who loved to watch concerts on TV. She was always thinking about food and what her next meal would be, finding delight in the simplest pleasures.

Her bubbly personality and glowing smile made her shine in any crowd, and her outgoing nature meant she easily made friends no matter where she went. A true social butterfly, Amanda brought warmth to every encounter and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving parents, Gary and Denise Snyder; her dear sister, Kelly (Jason) Price, her cherished grandparents, Blair Snyder (the late Grace) and Marie Stephens (Luther); her aunts Ronda (Scott) Shantz, Charleen (Thomas) Vanmeer, and Chrissy Baker; her uncle Barry Rossi; and her beloved cousins Barbi Rossi, Bridgett Rossi, James (Ashleigh) Restum, Elizabeth (Will) Boettcher, Cori (Chet) Marden, Zachary (Angela Roman) Dague, and Kailia (Seth) Ratliff and a host of great cousins and extended family in Pennsylvania. Each of them carries a piece of Amanda in their hearts, and they will forever cherish the joyful memories created together.

Amanda Snyder may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain alive in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Amanda-you will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

In honor of Amanda's love of denim and all things Western, the family invites guests to wear jeans or Western attire to the service. It would have brought Amanda great joy to see everyone dressed in a style she loved so much.
