Allen Lloyd Smith went home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2023, at the age of 67, in Houghton Lake, Michigan. He was born May 24, 1955, in Detroit, MI to his late Parents, Jimmie Lloyd Smith & Shirley Ann Foley, and preceded in death by his beloved Grandmother, Sarah Inez Horn.

Allen is survived by his loving partner of 10 years, Suzanne Smith; Children, Andrea Rose Smith, Stephen Lloyd Smith, and precious Granddaughter, Isabelle Rose Goulet; Sisters, Mindy (Dennis) Jenkins, Pam (Paul) Seymour; Uncle Denny & Aunt Kay Ice; Godparents, Jack & Marie Harper; Mother-In-Law Margit Gyorki (whom he treasured), and his wife's children, Melissa Jeffrey, Chelsea (David) Herman; and her grandchildren Michael, Ella, Grayson; and extended family.

Allen grew up in Westland, MI and attended John Glenn High School, graduating in 1973. He studied Science (Chemistry/Biology) at Covenant College before receiving his Bachelor of Science in Management of Human Resources at Spring Arbor University,

Allen prided himself in his work and service to others. He was Manager of Safety at ITC Holdings and a former Supervisor with First Energy of Toledo for 19 years.

He was an avid reader of the Word, did it all for the Glory of the Lord, and will be greatly missed by many loving family and friends!
