Alan Disbrow was born on August 24, 1929 in Manton, Michigan. He passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 91 in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. Alan is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (the late Kevin) Gratton, Janet (Cheryl Hermann) Canning; brother, Arthur (Joanne) Disbrow; sister, Janice (William) Gorham; three grandsons, Patrick (Stephanie) Disbrow, Sean Gratton, Joshua Gratton; great-grandson, Joel Disbrow. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Disbrow, wife, Dorothy Disbrow, father, Alan Stacy Disbrow, mother, Elsie Ruth Disbrow, brother, Rex Disbrow, sister, Ruth Binns.
Alan is a proud Korean War veteran. He served our country from November 1950 to November 1952. He returned from the military and worked as a starter repairman for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. Alan was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had a sincere love for all of his neighbors as they did for him. He had a niche for antiquing and collecting. He also shared a love for trains.
Alan was loved by many and he will be dearly missed.
